Mr. Preston Stewart provided information related to the sinking of the Schooner Halcyon out of Georgetown.
The schooner sank off of Eastern Kings in November 1907 and wreckage was discovered by Edwin McFarlane. Howard Poole, James Stewart (the grandfather of Preston Stewart), and Charles Reeves all lost their lives.
The sinking was reported in the Guardian on November 11, 1907 on the front page.
