- Veard Court building a lobster trap
- Veard Court is one of the infamous Court Brothers from North Rustico Harbour. He and his three brothers fished lobsters following in their father's and grandfather's footsteps. They also took tourists deep sea fishing for years. Their bright yellow buildings were an icon at the harbour for years, and are still there today, even though they've been turned into gift shops.

- Vimy and Meat Shop
- The Vimy was a small restaurant that Johnny James Gallant owned. It was a popular hang out for the local men. After the war, Vincent Blacquiere and his brother-in-law Leo bought it. It was later turned into the Cozy Corner Restaurant. Right next to the Vimy was the Meat Shop. These buildings were located where the Fisherman's Wharf is today. The buildings were all built on stilts because the water came right up to Main Street back then.
