Murray Harbour Bank

The Canadian Bank of Commerce in Murray Harbour. This building originally housed Isaac Prowse's Hotel, and today it is a private dwelling.

Murray Harbour Feed Mill

Located behind the train station near the Machon's Point Road was a feed mill owned by Ray Brooks and Nathan Irving. Local farmers took their grain to the mill to be ground for feed for their livestock. The building was destroyed in the 1970's.

Murray Harbour Rink

The Murray Harbour Rink in 1949 or 1950. The rink was located close to where the Community Centre is today, and was used until it was destroyed in a fire in July of 1970.

Murray Harbour School

Murray Harbour's schoolhouse was built in 1900, and destoryed by fire in 1970. The school was also used for community events and meetings, like box socials, Women's Institute meetings, concerts, plays, and film screenings.

The Murray Harbour school (today's Community Hall), rink, and Community Hall. All of these buildings were located close to where the Community Hall is today.
