The Leona E. Macguire, formerly known as the Nellie J. Banks. This famous rum-runners final home was Murray Harbour. Gavin MacLeod's homestead (centre), the grist mill (left), and John Cambridge's old store (right) in Murray River. Gavin was a nephew of Gavin and Cartney McLure, who left him their grist, shingle, and saw mill properties in Murray River when they died.

The Muriel was built for Silas Sencabaugh, and later sold to Percy White who used it as a packet. Royal White worked for seven years on the Muriel, and earned $700 in that time. He used the money to buy a ship, the Margaret Cavell, with his father.
